I may be going a little far reading the message, but "ei" is Finnish for "no". The Finnish people have for a long time been for military independence outside of alliances, but the leadership has been pushing the country to the NATO direction anyway. This is how Finland is now a partner with NATO and holds military exercises with NATO in Finland. There is even talk of joining the EU army.

Trump's recent comments about the need for other NATO countries to increase their military budgets will do a lot to make sure that the ei to NATO side will stay strong among the Finnish people.
