This was done intentionally by the prosecutor who originally did not want to file charges. If exculpatory evidence was hidden then the prosecutor should be investigated for felony misconduct charges, prosecuted and disbarred. This stinks.

The totalitarianism we warned of is happening.

The European Union is at this moment forcing big tech companies to secretly engage in mass censorship. Google and Facebook are, apparently, going along with it.

Only Elon Musk’s X, among the major platforms, is resisting.

A few hours ago, Musk said, “The European Commission offered 𝕏 an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us. The other platforms accepted that deal. 𝕏 did not.”

And so now, the EU is preparing to punish X with massive fines — up to 6% of total global revenue.

I can't imagine a more egregious form of foreign interference in our domestic affairs than foreign governments demanding mass secret censorship for ideological and political purposes.

Most terrifying is the apparently direct involvement of government intelligence and security agencies, and their intermediaries, in demanding censorship.

This is all happening at the very moment that the same governments, including our own, warn of Russian disinformation through spam accounts that hardly anybody ever sees.

Don’t be fooled by what is happening. Governments and former intelligence officials in Europe, Australia, Israel, Brazil, and Ukraine and other nations are not only demanding censorship but also often spreading their own disinformation.

For example, the EU claims that there is more false information on X than on other platforms, and more censorship would reduce it.

This is false. Only X has the open-source Community Notes system, which allows for real-time corrections to false information. A recent study in JAMA, the Journal of American Medicine, found that 97.5% of the Community Notes were entirely accurate, 2%, partially accurate, and 0.5%, inaccurate.

Welcome, folks, to day 16 of the great dem civil war…

The Obama wishcasters coming off their great delivery of their lightbringer approved wish by the Hollywood B lister in their favorite rag, the NYT, were shocked and confused when Team Biden ambushed them at the NATO gap.

It was an epic battle with both sides trading slaps and wedgies. Team Biden brought their best version of their dotard in chief (DIC) that modern medicine could produce. They were so confident in victory that they delayed the engagement 2 hours as they put their (DIC) through his paces. The battle plodded along for about an hour with the dotard deploying his secret weapons right from the start naming Putin president of Ukraine and Trump his VP. He then preceeded along mumbling and stumbling well enough that the wishcasters were left demoralized but undefeated, keeping their hope and change alive to fight another day. Team Biden left the mud pit delivering words of wisdom to the spectators, saying we should all listen to Trump.

The media irregulars clearly exhausted from working beyond normal human endurance levels for the last 15 days decided to handle the (DIC) gently and could not summon the energy required to end the encounter by asking a tough question. It appears that the media irregulars are just tapped out and looking forward to a relaxing week of rest at the no chaos RNC convention…..little do they know…

The IC team sent out their house trained pet to say he could not support team Biden. They have now released both pets and are making it clear they want the coup to continue….what dastardly do right cards are up their sleeves?

Team Trump was proud of being given the VP slot and quickly capitalized on the gifts Team Biden handed out with some fastballs down the center of the plate.

The downballot folks are still going with the grand "every pronoun for itself" strategy with 14 house members in tough races declaring Joe has got to go. Those in "safe" districts have unsurprisingly taken a wait and see approach as they try to get Team Pelosi and Team Schumer to give them more than liquid courage.

Team Schumer, who have been unsurprisingly cowardly during the civil war so far, surprised no one with their timid entry into the fray by speaking one thing in public and another in private.

Team Pelosi's brief moment of sobriety apparently ended yesterday around happy hour, and they haven't been seen or heard from since….

Team Trump continues to prepare for their shock and awe display at the RNC convention with a totally free and unsentenced commander at the helm while making it look easy to hammer Team Biden, the media irregulars and the wishcasters from afar.

There are no updates from the clintonists, and one has to wonder what the Great Warlord Grandma Pickles is up to. What clever schemes and money-making opportunities is she planning?

Will Team Biden continue to stay one step in front of the rabid pack, trying to tear them down? Will the wishcasters rally and get another lightbringer approved B lister from Hollywood to deliver another wish, or will they deploy the standard weekend wishcasters? Will their wish of a resignation of the (DIC) during the RNC convention come to pass? Will the media irregulars sue for peace so they can get some beauty rest? Will the downballot folks ever make a stand? Will the gop ever enter the fight? Will team Trump be happy with the VP slot, or will they continue for the brass ring? Will modern medicine be able to keep the (DIC) working?
