Campaign 2024: Vice President Harris Campaigns in Philadelphia
Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a keynote address at a town hall in Philadelphia hosted by Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote, an advocacy group focused on mobilizing Asian American voters. She said the 2024 election was “the most existential, consequential, and important election of our lifetime.” She then promoted the Biden administration’s record and warned of what a second Trump presidency could mean for the country, remarking on the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity and “Project 2025” conservative policy proposals. “Do we want to live in a country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law, or a country of chaos, fear, and hate? We each have the power to answer this question,” she said. This was Vice President Harris' sixth visit to Pennsylvania this year. She was introduced by Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus Chair Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA).

Campaign 2024: Vice President Harris Praises President Biden's Recent Appearances
Vice President Kamala Harris picked up an order at Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia and gave remarks to the press. She said President Biden did an “outstanding job” at the closing news conference of a NATO summit, saying he is “a master of the issues” and calling him “so highly respected” among world leaders. She also praised his speech at yesterday’s rally in Detroit. She was accompanied by Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), who voiced his support for the Biden-Harris ticket. Her remarks came amid talks within the Democratic Party about possibly replacing President Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate.
