Going off the gunshots:

Sniper took first shot, expected killshot, missed, followed up by two desperation shots

Counter snipers, slight panic, notice first shot, return fire, two shot hit sniper, pause to see if he's still wiggling, probably moved a little, killshot to the head

Still begs the question: Why was he allowed to take a shot in the first place from such a perfect sniper spot?
