Twitter (X) is a catch all for the deep state. Elon is a fraud. He is collecting an unimaginable amount of metadata on Twitter users. This metadata will be kept "anonymous" (for users who choose to be anonymous) and will be kept as private as users want it to be until the time is right. When the coming social credit system is in place, Elon will expose all "wrong think" and anything and everything that people have posted that is contrary to the deep state's narratives and/or deemed as right wing will be used to destroy them.
