Both parents of Thomas Matthew Crooks are reportedly in their 50s and have claimed to be Jewish.

He grew up with his sister, Katherine Crooks, in Bethel Park, PA.

His parents, Matthew and Mary, are both licensed behavioral counselors in Pennsylvania.

Following the severity of the incident, Mary and Matthew might remain anonymous on social media platforms.

His father, Matthew Crooks, is a care manager at Community Care Behavioral Health in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, United States.

On Twitter, someone sympathetically remarked that Mr. and Mrs. Crooks must be feeling like the most unlucky parents in the world.

They hoped that they find strength in dealing with their son’s tragic actions.

Similarly, other Twitter users questioned whether the alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was on antidepressants.

They also mentioned conspiracies suggesting he registered as a Republican to vote against Trump after donating to Blue causes.

Futher, they questioned whether Thomas Matthew Crooks’ parents were aware of these details.

Additional Information

FBI initially indicated they had identified the shooter but refrained from releasing the name during the sensitive early stages of the investigation.

Blood was visible on Trump’s right ear as he was escorted off stage.

President Joe Biden condemned the incident as “sick” and emphasized that “there’s no place in America for this kind of violence.

Grace Crooks Obituary

Grace Edrie (DeTrude) Crooks, of Shaler Township, beloved wife to Norman G. Crooks, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Howard Jay DeTrude Sr. and Beatrice (Shore) DeTrude. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Mark E. (Kathleen) Crooks, Norma J. (William) Meredith, Glenn H. Crooks and Matthew B. (Mary) Crooks;beloved grandmother of eight; and devoted great-grandmother of three. Grace was the sister of Martha Lou Stanton and the late Howard and Edward DeTrude. She devoted her life to her family and participating in church, where she was a past treasurer. Grace held several jobs in accounting and adult education. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a past volunteer instructor with the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council and a devoted wife and mother. She was a best friend to many, and will be missed by all. Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday only in the NEELY FUNERAL HOME, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Funeral at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mt.
