Possible scenario, two shooters, one on tower (real shooter) and patsy shooter on roof. Patsy does shoot, hits a few innocent bystanders and gets hosed. Real shooter misses shot at Trump then bails, could have been posing as, or actual media personnel, easy exfil.
Second shooter could have been sitting in a tree I suppose, and left the rifle up in it. Just a possibility. Gotta explore all the possibilities.
Unless Trumps whole entourage, as well as the audience, were in on the deal, that's doubtful. Some dude running around with a rifle would probably be noticed by SOMEBODY, especially after what just happened, not to mention the doubtless ex-vets around.
