Been thinking about Trump talking about his shoes in the middle of the whole thing, and it seems odd. Odd (or amazing) that he would be calm enough to bother to wait for his shoes, and crazy to think SS would accommodate waiting. Looked for posts related to Wait, Wait and also shoes, and there's lots of interesting posts that could be relevant.
Of course, even contemplating this train of thought implies much more…so…not sure. Maybe POTUS really just wanted his shoes.
