David Dutch, 57, from New Kensington, was hit twice when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired at Trump and his supporters on Saturday. This was confirmed by the Marine Corps League's (MCL) Department of Pennsylvania.
Who is David Dutch?
Dutch, who became the commandant of the Westmoreland County Marine Corps League Detachment No. 1416 last year, was acknowledged by local news source TribLIVE.
Pennsylvania State Police Col. Christopher Paris reported on Sunday that both Dutch and Copenhaver are currently in stable condition.
In addition to the injured, officials also named Corey Comperatore, 50, as the Trump supporter who was fatally shot by Crooks.
Comperatore, a father of two and former chief of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company, died while protecting his wife and daughter from the gunfire, according to his family.
