I call bullshit. Let's do the math.
1) "bullet" trail is approximately the same length of his hat (from brim to back) which is say, 11 inches.
2) Photog says he shoot the image in 1/8000 sec, so the photo represents 0.000125 sec of time.
3) 11 in/0.000125 sec is 88000 in/sec
which is: 7333 fps.
4) typical 0.223 rounds are 2500 to 3500 fps.
That would be one FAST projectile.
