If typical political rules are the driving force, then J.D. Vance from Ohio is the VP choice, because:

1. He is from Ohio, and if a republican doesn't win Ohio, they don't win the election (EC math)

1. Vance is not running for re-election to the Senate this year, so he loses nothing if there is another steal, and he doesn't become VP.

1. With the age thing centering on Biden, and a little on Trump, having a younger VP becomes a plus.

1. I expect Vance to wipe the floor with KaMOOla in their debate.
