JD Vance announced as Donald Trump's Vice President pick despite beard problem

Donald Trump has put an end to months of speculation by announcing his running mate at the Republican National Convention - days after being shot at a rally.

However, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger said Vance should have been "disqualified" from serving as vice president for his response to the attempted assassination of Trump on Saturday.

Vance said on social media that the shooting was “not some isolated incident” and suggested President Biden’s campaign was, at least in part, at fault.
