Sickens this anon that just because someone was in the military, it doesn't make them a hero, nor does it make them ethical, honest, trustworthy etc.

Anon spent some time in the military (many years) and have seen the best, honest and trustworthy members, but also the scumbag, backstabbing, unethical douche bags w no military bearing or core values. Some would sell their mother for a beer.
Society is so mesmerized by what they think the person did in the military and vote that way. Hurts anon's head

Luttrell was played up as a hero when in fact anyone in the community would tell you there are a lot of holes in his story. Theres a lot of hero worship that is wasted on these clowns.
BTW you obviously did a good job raising son-anon if he deliberately delayed entry because of the clot shot. That shows great awareness.
Despite this anon's warning, son anon did take the shot. Not doing well at this point. Spouse anon the same story.

Anon knows some things:
-its bs that any sniper in protection of HVT would wait for the okay to fire on an armed intruder
-If SS wants to hold tight to "they have to wait until they can confirm its a weapon or their career is destroyed", then why come out and say they couldn't take the shot because they didn't get the confirmation (earpiece)?
-It wouldn't take but a split second to determine it was a weapon (so that destroys the director's excuse). The shot would've been taken immediately.
-The SS clownshow that followed and kept 45 exposed for long periods should've been screamed about by all MSM, yet….
-Lastly: There's no way advanced party did not identify all locations that could reach the podium with a high caliber round weeks prior.
At the distance of the shooter, even a soldier with a record of poor marksmanship could've made that shot at that distance. Its an insult to proclaim that anyone actually did their job.

That said, snipers had high quality scopes which would've identified the AR15 immediately. That should have been enough. Waiting for the shooter to shoot before they can counter is utter nonsense.
Also, many of the fat cops can/will shoot out of desperation and personal survival without using critical thinking nor immediate identification skills the PD should teach them. Anon has had the displeasure of training some of these clowns. Some clowns were kicked out for safety reasons. Anon had sit downs with many leaders to debrief and recommendations. Sad that so many get such low quality training today.
Blown away by??? Sniper would not have shot the gun away. Immediate threat (person) first. Those that come to confirm may kick the gun away, but it didn't magically fly 10 feet away.
Got it anon, the sideview pic of the shooter shows he was in the prone position. If shot from the sniper-angle and hit the rifle, it would've landed closer and probably more closer to shooter's legs (from angle of shot by sniper).
THis anon would believe the distance IF there were a LEO/SS standing there when the pic was taken. Commonly while gun is trained on threat, the gun in question would get kicked away, to see if shooter responds and to get it away from the shooter. No LEO/SS was present in the aerial pic
Threat definitely looked ded in the pics msm is pushing.
