Canadian soldier was killed Friday in Afghanistan by a roadside bomb that narrowly misseda vehicle carrying the commander of coalition troops in Kandahar.
Cpl. Nick Bulger, 30, a member of Brig.-Gen. Jonathan Vance'stactical team, was travelling behindthe generalin Kandahar province when his light armoured vehiclestruck an improvised explosive device at 11:20 a.m. local time.
