Secret Service Now Saying They Didn’t Put Any Agents on the Roof Because Slight Slope Was Too Dangerous
Witnesses who saw the alleged shooter climb on top of the roof with a rifle across from the podium where President Trump was speaking to a crowd of over 15,000 supporters begged law enforcement for action. Multiple individuals gave eyewitness accounts of how they alerted law enforcement to the serious issue.
The Gateway Pundit reported on a report from CNN that cited law enforcement officials, who said Crooks bought the ladder from Home Depot on the day he tried to assassinate Trump from the roof of a nearby building.
If this report is accurate and to be believed, Crooks may have made it past law enforcement and the Secret Service carrying a very tall ladder and used it to climb the building unnoticed.

On Friday, he went to a shooting range where he was a member, and practiced firing, a law enforcement official told CNN. The next morning, Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.
So many questions have been asked by everyday Americans and Republican members of Congress about how the Secret Service dropped the ball and allowed a 20-yr-old man to scale a building with a rifle less than 150 yards from a former President of the United States and a frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race.

She has pleaded not guilty.

Snipers Were INSIDE Building Used By Trump Failed Assassin; Reported Him Using Range Finder, Took Pictures, And Command Did Nothing
Three Beaver County police snipers were reportedly stationed inside the building used by the shooter in Saturday's assassination attempt on Donald Trump, a local law enforcement officer with 'direct knowledge' of the incident tells CBS News' Anna Schecter, and as first reported by the Beaver Countian.

A sniper, stationed on the second floor providing overwatch, saw the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, outside the building and looking up at the roof. He then walked away, returned, whipped out his phone, when one of the snipers took the first of two pictures of him.
Crooks then took out a rangefinder - at which point the sniper radioed to a command post. Crooks then disappeared again and came back a third time with a backpack. The snipers called in once again with information that he had a backpack and that he (Crooks) was walking toward the back of the building.
By the time other officers came for backup, he had climbed on top of the building and was positioned above and behind the snipers inside the building, the officer said.
Two other officers who heard the sniper's call tried to get onto the roof. State police started rushing to the scene, but by that time, a Secret Service sniper had already killed Crooks, the officer said. -CBS News
So - law enforcement had eyes-on the shooter the entire time, took pictures of him, notified their command post - and nothing was done until Crooks shot Trump, at which point Secret Service snipers returned fire and killed him.

Australian religious schools face obligation to hire gay teachers
A regional politician reportedly plans to propose a bill overhauling anti-discrimination laws
A lawmaker in the state of South Australia plans to introduce a new bill that would oblige religious schools to employ gay teachers, Adelaide-based newspaper The Advertiser has reported.
The debate over the rights of LGBT staff and students in faith-based institutions flared up in Australia earlier this year after a government agency proposed an overhaul of anti-discrimination laws in the country.
Robert Simms, member of the Legislative Council, the upper house of South Australia’s Parliament, has told The Advertiser that the current state laws facilitate discrimination and must be changed. Simms, the first openly gay man to represent the state in the federal parliament, pledged to introduce new legislation in August that would remove exemptions introduced for faith-based institutions.
Under current Australian law, religious organizations may employ or reject people based on religious criteria, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
“It is outrageous that in 21st-century South Australia, a gay teacher working in a religious school can be in fear of losing their job simply because of their sexuality… Surely all South Australians deserve equal protection before the law?” Simms, who’s a member of the left-wing Green Party, explained.
The government and opposition MPs should be granted a conscience vote on the issue, he added.
Simms’ opponent from the right-wing One Nation party, MP Sarah Game, argued that if the bill becomes law, schools and religious organizations will no longer be able to choose staff members based on shared ethical values and beliefs.
The Australian Law Reform Commission issued a report on faith-based schools in March. The Commission recommended that the law be amended to protect students and teachers from discrimination based on their sexuality and gender identity.

According to inquiries into crowdfunding websites and other public records conducted by the news agency and the Israeli investigative site Shomrim, three groups, including one accused of looting or destroying supplies, have raised over $200,000 via contributions from the US and Israel.
Mother’s March has reportedly raised the equivalent of over $125,000 through the Israeli crowdfunding site Givechack, the AP and Shomrim found. The group also raised some $13,000 via JGive, a US and Israeli crowdfunding site.
The report claims that the organization doesn’t not raise money directly, but works via an allied group called Torat Lechima, which says its goal is to “strengthen the Jewish identity and fighting spirit” among Israeli soldiers. A third group, Tzav 9, raised over $85,000 from just under 1,500 donors in the US and Israel via JGive.
The report alleges that the donations have been incentivized by making them tax-deductible. It noted that practices of this kind contradict a pledge by the US and Israel to allow unlimited flows of food and medicine into war-ravaged Gaza. Donations continued even after Washington introduced sanctions against Tzav 9.

U.S. authorities reportedly received intelligence ahead of an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump over the weekend that Iran was reportedly plotting to kill him, CNN reported on Tuesday.
The intelligence, provided to U.S. authorities by a human source, prompted the Secret Service to ramp up protections for the former president in the weeks leading up to the shooting, several people briefed on the matter told CNN. “Once again, we lack an effective policy to deter Iran‘s regime from these attacks,” Jason Brodsky, policy director at United Against Nuclear Iran and scholar at the Middle East Institute, said in a statement on Tuesday. “A strongly-worded press statement, beefed up security, and perhaps sanctions and an indictment will not suffice.”
