Why not? Your body has a magnetic field. Some people say piercings and tattoos can damage your magnetic field or redirect how it radiates. Also fillings or scars in general. I have no idea how much scars can impact it, but it makes sense if you have metal or if the body part is completely missing or damaged.

You're familiar with the phrase "blood on your hands" as in it never washes off?

I'm sure there's got to be some physical alteration to the body by blood touching the skin in a ritual format. The way the verse describes the ritual, it's as if the blood touching those points on the body have an alteration effect.

I think I'm quite still. You seem to be the one jumping around with new interpretations every time it suits you. I'm trying to think about this logically.
