The echo pattern for each shot is unique to the location of the gun and microphone. Notice that #1 and #2 are identical. #3 is completely different.

 

Consider #3 was waiting for #1 for 'cover'

MEFFER! Echo patterns cannot lie. They can get confusing when there are multiple shots close together in time. However in this case, it looks like #4 and #5 are the same - but both different from #1,2 and #3…. assuming these are all from the same microphone.

 

Keep in mind if I move a gun or microphone 1-foot, then timings will shift by about 1 millisecond.
