Yesterday I started thinking about the theory of belligerent occupation and wondering if it were true what would we see now with the recent events unfolding so I read sections 10,11 and 12 in the Law of War manual again.

I haven't been a believer in this theory but after so much time has passed, it looks more logical.

Some things I notice reading it now

• Biden hasn't been able to go to his other Delaware home (section 11.18)

• No clean budget has passed this entire time. they just keep passing CRs and kicking the can (section 11.22)

• I also find section 12 interesting and worth a relook. The difference between surrender and capitulation. The use of white flag.

I found it strange the USSS Director instructed agents to no longer wear Handkerchief and only blue or black suits. Now I wonder if they don't want SS to use the white handkerchief or have it misinterpreted
