In Jewish tradition, Orthodox and some Conservative Jews wear black cube-shaped leather boxes containing Torah texts written on parchment, known as phylacteries or tefillin. These boxes are worn during weekday morning prayer services, typically on the forehead (shel rosh) and arm (shel yad).
Scriptural Basis:
The practice of wearing tefillin is rooted in biblical commands, specifically:
-
Deuteronomy 6:8: " Bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as a reminder between your eyes."
-
Deuteronomy 11:18: โYou shall place these words of mine on your heart and between your eyes.โ
So as usual the men of the world misunderstand the scripture and begin literally attaching boxes with scriptures inside them to their foreheads and arms. When the meaning was to keep the word of God in mind and in deed. Kek
The Torah does not specify the use of a black box for the tefillin. The black box, or "batim," is a later development in Jewish tradition. The use of a black box became common during the Talmudic period, around the 3rd to 5th centuries CE.
So once again, this practice is Babylonian, and not Jewish at all. Fascinating! I wonder what else came out of Babylonโฆ..
>Also, if any anon can find me EXACTLY when this Butler rally was FIRST announced, that'd be very handy. Loomers extensive DIG here shows the building being purchased way back in March, but I'm sure the rally was only RECENTLY decided/announced โ therefore this whole idea falls apart, just a coinkydink, UNLESS there's a mole in the Trump Camp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll admit I didn't even know Trump had a rally that day until I saw it on Badlands on my Rumble feed.
I'm usually pretty good at keeping up with his rallies too

I doubt anyone would be on the LITERAL TOP of it, there's a mezzonine connected to a ladder at the base of the tank iirc.
