Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who is suing President Donald Trump over a hush agreement about an affair she claims she had with him, was arrested at an Ohio strip club, according to her attorney.

Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti, took to Twitter early Thursday claiming the arrest at Columbus, Ohio, was "politically motivated" and "reeks of desperation."

"She was arrested for allegedly allowing a customer to touch her while on stage," Avenatti later tweeted, adding: "They are devoting law enforcement resources to sting operations for this? There has to be higher priorities."
