Author from NSW also seems to have a fixation on children as victims in her writings?

Author Bio:

The Naher Agency | » Candice Fox

Candice FoxThe Naher Agency | Candice Fox Candice Fox Candice Fox is the middle child of a large, eccentric family from Sydney's western suburbs composed of half, adopted and pseudo siblings. The daughter of a parole officer and an enthusiastic foster-carer, Candice spent many of her early Christmases travelling to Long Bay Correctional Facility in the family minibus to knock on prison cell windows, run around the razor-wired yard and eat fruitcake prepared by inmates. Part of an ever-growing mob of Sydney's most disadvantaged children, entertainment had to be cheap. She spent her childhood holidays exploring free, open spaces - farms, bushland and cemeteries. As a cynical and trouble-making teenager, her crime and gothic fiction writing was an escape from the calamity of her home life. Bankstown born and bred, she failed to conform to military life in a brief stint as an officer in the Royal Australian Navy at age eighteen. At twenty, she turned her hand to academia, and taught high school through two undergraduate and two postgraduate degrees. She currently works lecturing writing at the University of Notre Dame while undertaking a PhD in literary censorship and terrorism. Hades, published by Random House Australia in 2014, won the Ned Kelly Award for Best Debut from the Australian Crime Writers Association. The second novel in the Bennett and Archer series, Eden, won the Ned Kelly Award for best crime novel in 2015, making Candice only the second author to win these accolades back-to-back. Fall, the third in the series, was published in early 2016. Candice is also published in the US by Kensington Publishing, and translated into German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Hebrew.

Still digging, almond activation from your post last bread.

Something stinketh here. That bio from Naher Agcy got the hairs standing up as well. Parents were foster parents, jailer father, failed Aussie Navy stint, etc.

Makes perfect sense to me that he (BC) would be making some sort of signal with the whole public stint.
