SAAS often makes on prem software dependent on it.
I watched a lot of companies fall for this shit.It was a way to get rid of infrastructure and people to managed it.
Now, the companies are dependent on outsiders… global outages
Also… many of these companies are not running windows, microsoft is implicated because of their data centers.
You can install almost any OS in Azure including Unix.
Its a crowdstrike problem, not a Microsoft problem unless the Azure data centers are down which means both are fucked and that makes little sense.
