The cause is believed to be an outage in Microsoft’s Azure and Office365 services. Airlines such as Qantas in Australia and United, Delta and American Airlines have been forced to ground flights. On X Microsoft 365 states that “many services continue to see improvements in availability as we continue to mitigate” the issues.
