Not assignation attempts coz other presidents.
Not military service, coz many presidents in military.
Not same military school.
Not political party.
Not religion.

yeah but the list was complete. Just those 3 were mentioned by Q as having (by nature of the question) something exclusively in common. That rules out an assassination criteria.

Was thinkin along those lines but JFK went the Congressman to Senator to Prez route. Reagan? yeah just an actor, Governor before Prez. Not sure.
