Massive changes/shifts occur on a 6000 year cycle. We are approaching the end of the last cycle. Research recent geophysics journals for the last few years and educate yourself. We are close…and our magnetic field has dropped considerably in the last 30 years…it's why the auroras are being seen more frequently at the equatorial latitudes.
