Do you think it would be a good idea to build a podium that can double as armor protection against .50 caliber bullets that in case of another event that the President could climb in and be enclosed and rolled off the stage or out of harm's way? Maybe ask Army Corps Engineers to build it and test it, I am sure they would do the perfect job.
In addition this podium should have additional protection incase of a chemical attacks and have simple first aid paraphernalia such as a tourniquet, gas mask, eye protection, etc….

Kek, why not just a catapult, because not everyone is good at skeet? But all kidding aside, I do not know why this has been done already? Maybe also something with additional head gear too/gas mask. Why does the President have to stand in front of such a tiny podium anyways with no protection?
Correct you can't protect about every possibility but the ones you reason about have to be up close and that is more obvious and time consuming. The idea of extra head gear/gas mask would be crucial as would a tourniquet in desperate times. We shouldn't minimize but say "Yes, if". We can get it done and it should be done by next event. A 4'x 4' podium, steel enforced with all those implements shouldn't be to hard nor expensive. Heck, you could even put deployable foldout bulletproof panels too made of lightweight material carbon fiber composites like on boats or velomobiles.
How long on this board have I been talking about miracles? This event, as sad as it was, will change the hearts and minds of countless millions as there is no other explanation.

I have been telling people the way things work for a long time and have given many discourses but I understand everyone's sentiment due to "their" lack of proof and effort but I can tell you for a fact: Only God can give Revelation and explain the Bible in a way that you need to understand. Not God's first miracle here.
