Elon makes a good point. When a company goes public, the company can literally get sued by shareholders for not maximizing profits. This is what Vivek meant by the enemy or 'Deep State' actually being the Machine / System itself. This is in context of Elon saying his AI company is open source, so it isn't affected by shareholders drive to surrender all morals just for the pursuit of monetary gain.
