To put my two cents in, #1 is my favorite. #2 and #3 seem undoable. #10 is over the top and dangerous.
You're too easily riled. What you're seeing here is a question raised by an anon that has come to really appreciate the opinions of others in this thread. Don't try to redesign the intent.
You clearly haven't looked at my posting history. And you have a problem with believing you know who was insulted by what.
Keep this in mind: When someone is impressed by another person's opinions, it it not unrealistic for them to want to hear more. At that point–at any point in the discourse–the opinions of the latter can be dismissed. It's called civil discourse.
The founders tried it. You should, too. It works.
