Democrats have reportedly been sending talking points to lawmakers and potentially others regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ stint as border czar during the ongoing migrant crisis.

A Democratic lawmaker said they and some of their colleagues received a document with guidelines about how to discuss Harris’ role in addressing the problem at the southern border, according to Outkick. A picture of the document has been circulating on social media.

The memo includes various talking points such as “There has never been such a position” as border czar. Another says the vice president “Was NOT asked to lead on the Admin’s immigration or border enforcement policies.” One of the lines said the vice president’s role was to “focus on changing conditions in OTHER countries, NOT U.S. border.”

It appears Democrats and members of the press have already been using some of the talking points. NBC News published a piece in which it suggested that the term “border czar” was a term concocted by Harris’ critics. Forbes published an article with the headline, “No, Kamala Harris Is Not The ‘Border Czar’—What To Know About Her Immigration Record.”

Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries also repeated the line. “She was never assigned the position of border czar. They’re making that up, because the extreme MAGA Republicans are in full meltdown,” he told reporters during a press conference.

The House of Representatives on Thursday voted in favor of a resolution to condemn Harris and the Biden administration for their “failure to secure the United States border.”

Following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, one of the most prominent news bytes among the propaganda media was the shooter’s alleged political affiliation.

Corporate media outlets didn’t hesitate to note that Thomas Crooks, the 20-year-old Pennsylvania native who shot Trump in the face, killed a rally attendee, and injured two others, was a registered Republican.

“Crooks was a registered Republican, according to Pennsylvania voter records,” wrote NBC News in an article the day after the assassination attempt. A CNN article with the headline “What We Know About The Trump Rally Gunman So Far” used the line “A 20-year-old living in a crucial swing state” to begin to describe the man who wreaked irreversible havoc on July 13. USA Today reported that Crooks donated to ActBlue but “registered as a Republican” “after he turned 18” later the same year.

In the wake of Trump’s near assassination, some in the media find the most pressing detail Crooks’ political affiliation, as if Crooks’ allegedly being a registered Republican removes the layer of political violence from the attack: he is supposedly “one of Trump’s own.” Of course, corporate media would love to have another excuse to portray political violence as a right-wing problem, as they have with their coverage of Jan. 6.

In reality, there is no shortage of left-wing radical assassins. Here are five assassinations and assassination attempts on presidents committed by left-wing perpetrators.

1. Lee Harvey Oswald

Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963. It has recently been alleged that Oswald was an agent of the Soviet KGB and was initially ordered to assassinate JFK, though the KGB changed course and Oswald later acted on his own.

In any case, Oswald had declared himself communist and defected to the Soviet Union. Originally a United States Marine, the KGB allegedly recruited Oswald when he was serving with the U.S. military in Japan.

1. Leon Czolgosz

Leon Czolgosz shot and killed President William McKinley in September of 1901. After Czolgosz’s wages were lowered at the mill he worked at, he became increasingly interested in workers’ rights and felt that there was inequality between the rich and the working class. It is reported that he began to read radical books and writings, and was particularly interested in anarchist Gaetano Bresci, who assassinated the king of Italy. Czolgosz himself could be described as an anarchist.

Anarchy is an anti-capitalist, libertarian, and socialist philosophy.

1. Giuseppe Zangara

Another anarchist, Giuseppe Zangara, targeted President-Elect Franklin D. Roosevelt, shouting, “Too many people are starving!” as he aimed at FDR and attempted to shoot him. Zangara fired six shots, hitting five people, including fatally wounding the mayor of Chicago, who was at the event FDR was speaking at.

1. Sara Jane Moore

Sara Jane Moore tried to kill President Gerald R. Ford in 1975 at a hotel in San Francisco. She shot at the president from 40 feet away and missed because someone in the crowd grabbed the gun at the last moment.

“‘I was going to go down anyway,’” Moore said. “‘If the government was going to kill me, I was going to make some kind of statement.’”

1. John Hinckley Jr.

John Hinckley Jr., who shot President Ronald Reagan, was ultimately found not guilty due to alleged insanity.

The Tesla founder, who used his estranged child’s deadname during a conversation with Dr. Jordan Peterson, alleged he was “essentially tricked into signing documents” for Vivian’s gender reassignment surgery.

“There was a lot of confusion,” Musk said in the Daily Wire interview Monday, recalling being told Vivian “might commit suicide” if she did not undergo the procedure.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Musk “vowed to destroy the woke-mind virus” and claimed to be “making progress” in that area.

Vivian clapped back Thursday, notably writing her response via Mark Zuckerberg’s Threads platform instead of X, which her dad bought in 2022.

“I look pretty good for a dead bitch,” she wrote.

Vivian went on to dismantle specific “fake” claims Musk made, from her “pick[ing] out clothes” for him at age 4 and being obsessed with musical theater.

She also clarified that she was the one to “disown him,” saying, “He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there, and in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.

“As for if I’m not a woman… sure, Jan. Whatever you say. I’m legally recognized as a woman in the state of California and I don’t concern myself with the opinions of those who are below me.”

Musk revealed he and Vivian were estranged in October 2022, four months after she was granted a name and gender change.

“Can’t win them all,” the 12-time dad told the Financial Times. “I have very good relationships with all the others.”

The entrepreneur welcomed Vivian and her twin, Griffin, as well as triplets Saxon, Kai and Damian, 18, while married to his ex-wife Wilson.

The former couple were also the parents of son Nevada, who died at 10 weeks old in 2002.

Additionally, Musk shares three children each with Shivon Zilis and Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher.

The songwriter, who dated Musk on and off from 2018 to 2022, gave birth to son X AE A-XII and welcomed daughter Exa via surrogate in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
