But the drones were in American air space:
Two recent incidents occurred at our Northern oil refineries that should be brought to the public and officials. These facilities are located within a few miles from our Washington/Canadian border. Two recent reports have been filed with authorities and need your immediate attention.
The first incident: The first report from Conoco Philip's Refinery, located in Ferndale, Washington, came in on the 16th of July. The second report on the 19th. A 911 call was placed at 12:30 in the morning, reporting that a group of drones flying in formation had come over the refinery. They came in around 11 pm from the southwest, flying about a hundred and fifty feet up. The drones were six bladed, large in size and approximately 10 feet wide. They proceeded to fly over the refinery, go back to the tree line and fly back over the refinery. The drones were spotted five consecutive nights. The report states that the FBI was notified but no official word was given to the employees or the public.
The second incident was recorded on the 25th of July with local law enforcement. On July 20th, at BP Cherry Point refinery, located in Blaine, Washington, 4-6 large drones were seen from 10pm until about midnight. This large formation of drones came in and flew over the facility's tall tower approximately 400 feet in the air. They then proceeded to fly over the refinery tanker fields. Individual employees report seeing a second sighting around 11 pm on Tues 23rd and into the morning of 24th. Three very large drones, approximately 10 feet wide and three smaller drones were identified. Security cameras captured footage of the drones flying over the towers and the tanker fields from both incidents as noted in the July 25th report. The smaller drones from the second incident flew over the dock and just waited with their lights turned off for about 30 minutes. The report says that the drones came from the south and when they left they flew north. The FBI was notified but no information has been given to the concerned employees.
Similar reports of recent large drone activity have been heard from an Anacortes refinery as well.
All the above incidents occurred between the hours of 10pm and 1:30 am each night.
