Ran a sim for Eastern US city, Detroit, using Timeanddate site. Current sun rising around 63 degrees ESE. Should be similar for most N. Hemisphere locations.

Yes, sunrise location does change. Usually only ever at 90degrees at Equinox times.

Here is link: https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/night/usa/detroit

Pick a major city nearby and choose the SUN as the planet you want to track.

>So, I am just wondering if it is my perspective or not because to me it looked like more than 90, maybe like 115 degrees, it was obvious.

Can’t say. Are you using a magnetic bearing or actual? If you have an old fsshioned compass (or a phone app compass, double check your true north vs magnetic. Plot the actual sunrise and compare it with a simulation for your area.

Dats a political upheaval in New Brunswick when the Brits forced expatriation of French Acadians) out of there to Louisiana where the name was bastardized to be ‘Cajuns’. Nuther sorry chapter of Brits transplanting people ala Palestine. But the Cajuns turned it into something gud. Prolly best thing coz their heritage didnt live in Canada where they would be f’cked.

Well, 21JUNE was the Summer Solstice (longest day) when the Sun rises at about 58 degrees ENE farthest to the North, in the East (sunrise) and WNW (sunset). Since then, the Sun has been gradually rising by degrees more and more to the South until it reaches 90 deg due West at Equinox.
