" The Georgia Record learned of the use of FireFly and that it has been used for up to three years to facilitate communication between the Secretary of State’s office and County election offices across GA.

Why would the SoS office need a private “hidden” communication mechanism to elections offices?

Has communication content on this app been omitted from Open Records Requests regarding communications between the offices? If so, why?

Forsyth County Board of Elections declined to discuss the FireFly app when it was brought up during their special meeting this morning.

Last month, The Forsyth BOE dismissed more than 700 registration challenges saying they did not contain enough evidence. When offered the evidence to substantiate the challenges on a recorded disk, the Board refused to accept it.

Joel Natt, Forsyth County Board of Elections member, was caught on video tape in 2022 admitting that he believed the voter roll in Forsyth County contained 17-20% more registrations than it should."
