The cop that saw him on the roof and dropped back down could have shot a warning shot into the ground to alert SS and PDJT about the threat to give ample time to take cover.
Even local bouncers have real time communications at any large bar and have physical signs they can give to each other as a fall back to alert, move to a location, or watch a certain person without tech.
