Democrat Jon Tester Praised Pearl Jam Poster Depicting Trump Dead, Eagle Eating Corpse

Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) in 2018 praised an apocalyptic Pearl Jam concert poster that depicted former President Donald Trump dead, according to his 2020 book, Grounded: A Rural Democratā€™s Fight to Unite America.

Testerā€™s last reelection campaign enflamed controversy when a Pearl Jam poster for a get-out-the-vote concert promoting the Montana Democrat featured a dead Donald Trump and an American bald eagle eating the remains of his corpse. Tester is close friends with Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, who designed the poster.

Testerā€™s campaign, not Tester himself, disavowed the poster, only after the media shed light on the controversy. Two weeks after the literature was revealed, Tester has yet to personally disavow it.

Even though the 2018 Tester campaign condemned the violent imagery in the poster, the battleground Senate Democrat appeared to enjoy the artwork, per his 2020 book, Grounded: A Rural Democratā€™s Fight to Unite a Divided America.

The Washington Examiner found that Tester ā€œactually lovedā€ the Pearl Jam poster.

ā€œAs soon as word spread of how wild the posters were, fans stood in line for hours to buy them all up at $35 a pop. Christie showed me a copy, gritting her teeth,ā€ Tester wrote.

ā€œAnd thereā€™s an unmistakable image of me, flying on my tractor above the fire and fury, waving with my two-fingered left hand,ā€ Tester added.

He said, ā€œā€˜This is so ā€¦ interesting,ā€™ I told Christie. Though the poster was off message, I didnā€™t want to admit to her that I actually loved it. None of us knew about the posters before we saw them on sale at the concert.ā€

Tester went on to write that the ā€œbig newsā€ was not the concert, but the ā€œartwork.ā€

The revelation about Testerā€™s praise of the violent, anti-Trump artwork follows after the recent shooting of former President Trump.

Tester wrote that he ā€œwas appalled by the violence at the political rallyā€ and called for an investigation into the shooting.

Tester has also made violent calls to attack Trump.

In 2019, Tester said that the best way to beat the 45th president is to ā€œpunch him in the face.ā€

Tester said, ā€œI donā€™t think, even in states where Donald Trump won big, that it does you any good running away from Donald Trump. I think you need to go back and punch him in the face. I mean, the truth is this guy is bad for this countryā€: >>21335280

ā€œTesterā€™s violent rhetoric toward President Trump is sick,ā€ said Mike Berg, a spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, (NRSC), said in a statement.

Americaā€™s great farmers and growers have a friend in President Trump: He negotiated more than 50 trade agreements to boost market access and exports for American goods, provided $30 billion in support to farmers and ranchers during COVID-19, and authorized more than $4 billion for the innovative Farmers to Families Food Box program.

President Trump also made it a priority to preserve and protect our Nationā€™s public lands and abundant natural resources, signing into law the largest single investment ever in Americaā€™s national parks. On the global stage, he demonstrated the commitment of the United States to conservation through actions such as joining the One Trillion Trees Initiative. ā€¦

Meet Donald Trump's Mother, 1994

A special edition of ā€˜Itā€™s Bibiā€™ broadcast for Saint Patrickā€™s Day featured guests Mary Trump and Frank Patterson.

Bibi Baskin travelled to the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel in Atlantic City where she met with Mary Trump, mother of Donald Trump.

"During our stay here we were honoured to have the pleasure of meeting Donald Trumpā€™s mother."

The interview took place in a luxury suite on the 51st floor of the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel, where Mrs Trump had just had lunch with Irish singer Frank Patterson who also spoke to Bibi.

Mary Trump has long been a fan of The Irish Tenor Frank Patterson.

"We have all his tapes, all his cassettes."

She recalls meeting Frank for the first time at Booth Memorial Hospital in New York, where he was performing and Mary was a patient in recovery after being mugged. She plans to go to Frankā€™s concert later that day, and again at Carnegie Hall the following week.

Mary Trump talks about her Scottish origins, hailing from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides. Mary, formerly MacLeod moved to New York and married Fred Trump.

Frank Patterson, who also lives in New York, says that Maryā€™s love for Irish music stems from her Scottish heritage. Since their first meeting Mary and Frank have remained friends and have worked on various charity events together.

Speaking about the Trump family Mary explains that Donald couldnā€™t be there to meet Bibi as he is filming with Steven Spielberg in Hollywood. She tells Bibi about her other children Maryanne, Frederick (recently deceased), Robert and Elizabeth. Frank Patterson describes the Trump family as

"Wonderful people."

This episode of ā€˜Itā€™s Bibiā€™ was broadcast on 16 March 1994. The presenter is Bibi Baskin.

Poll: Most Say There Should Have Been ā€˜More Competitionā€™ to Replace Biden

Most people believe there should have been ā€œmore competitionā€ to replace President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race, as Democrat leaders essentially coronated Vice President Kamala Harris for Democrat voters, a recent Harvard-Harris survey found.

The survey asked >>21335811 respondents, ā€œShould there have been more competition to nominate a replacement to Biden, or was it important to show unity and coalesce behind Vice President Harris?ā€

Overall most, 57 percent, said there ā€œshould have been more competitionā€ to nominate a replacement for Biden, while 43 percent disagreed, asserting it was ā€œimportant to show unity and coalesce behind Harris.ā€

A breakdown of opinions by political affiliation shows that over a quarter of Democrats, 27 percent, believe there ā€œshould have been more competitionā€ for the nomination to replace Biden ā€” a sentiment shared by a majority of Republicans and independents ā€” 85 percent and 60 percent, respectively.

On the flip side, 73 percent of Democrats maintain that it was ā€œimportant to show unity and coalesce behind Harris,ā€ but only 40 percent of independents and 15 percent of Republicans agree.

However, most across the board, 71 percent, believe Biden stepping down showed that he ā€œlistened to votersā€ given the results from recent polling suggesting that Democrats wanted him out of the race. Nevertheless, 29 percent disagree, stating that the move was ā€œundemocratic and goes against the will of 14 million voters who supported Biden in the Democratic primary earlier this year.ā€
