>Forget Crowdstrike, CFOs have a new worry looming ahead: ‘Q-day’

There is no basis for this.

I have tried to reseach quantum computing. There is very little out there.

The basic principle is that it gets "every answer", including wrong answers.

So then you need a way to sift through the answers.

Some kind of frequency analysis is the current approach - Fourier transform IIRC.

But this means that the order of magnitude of time taken remains the same.

I have not seen any evidence that there is even the start of an approach that could massivley change the order of magnitude of time taken to solve a generic problem like encryption.

So for now, this could be vaporware

If someone knows better, please enlighten us.

Now there might very well be a solution to the problem coming. I say this because they were talking about neural networks a stupidly long time ago, and then when AI finally emerged, it IS a neural network-based design. So it seems that someone somewhere knows something in advance. And maybe they know that about quantum computing

>consider the time advantage that a quantum computer has in performing a fourier analysis

I don't know that it has any advantage in that. As far as I know, traditional computing is used to do any fourier transform on the quantum results at this point. Do you know otherwise?

Like with LLM. Parallel computing 'GPUs' are used for the model training, but after that, it's traditional CPU power

And it has nothing to do with him.

They planned this.

9/11 was partly about this.

They want the arab takeover of Europe but also wanted the animosity with the natives.

That's how you control prisons.
