/news/ was better than /pol/ most of the time, although I would go to /pol/ every once in a while to find "happenings" when something big was going down, like the attempted coup against Turkey back in, what, 2015? And if I recall most of them were NATO/CIA shills who glowed in the dark. Still, it was fun to watch those threads in real time.

Most platforms glow today, that's due to the fact Obama officially legalized government use of propaganda directly on domestic civilians, which was once illegal for the government to do domestically, they traditionally would only deploy hostile propaganda campaigns against foreign nations. Now? They do it here too.

Israel and Iran are not innocent. The Middle East has been a hotspot of conflict for a long time. Lots of fighting over land and resources. No one there is innocent. That's the thing Americans need to understandโ€ฆ. we are not making it any better, we never will. Honestly we should only focus on mutual trade but have nothing else to do with the Middle East as it's really not in our interest.

It's true though, Obama did legalize the use of domestic propaganda by our government and military against American citizens.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is flying to Moscow, Russia for the second time in one week; presumably to speak about the coming Iran retaliation against Israel, and the likely war that will follow.

The fact that Assad is flying in to see Russian President Putin has massive security implications. Clearly, whatever the two men will discuss is of such a nature that neither one wants even the possibility of the information being intercepted by clandestine services.

So what is it that is of such importance? Syria's role in the upcoming Iran retaliation?

What do to if war breaks out?

Or, if war is actually planned already, modifications to - or enhancements of - Syria's role?

None of this is a good thing for Israel.

You are right I need to cut it back again. It's so hard when you are addicted, but I'm not a day time drinker only every other night, I'm the kind that starts drinking and can't help myself to more and more. I should probably go to AA sometime and try to quite again, it is poison and it's not good.
