Just remember, in the US, the founders believed in the 10 Commandments, that means when they wrote the 1st Amendment, it didn't apply to faiths other than Christianity because that would violate the 1st commandment. Islam, Judaism, Satanism, etc, aren't protected by the 1st Amendment per original intent.
