Sounds good at first blush till you remember you ballot/vote is 'sacred' and private by law. I think they are setting us up to feel like we have an edge only to repeal it later because it's clearly not a legal decision.

Nope, there's an entire book on the topic, Mary/Joseph had to travel for the census because they weren't Jewish. I listened to the author years ago doing an interview, he made his case very well. I think it's covered in the book "The Case for Christ". I may be mistaken, but Jesus has never been considered Jewish anyways, at least not in my upbringing.
