Who We Are
The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) protects and serves uprooted people, including refugees, asylum-seekers, internally displaced people, victims of human trafficking, and migrants — regardless of faith, race, ethnicity or nationality.
The Council is the policy-making body of the Commission, made of representatives of Catholic Episcopal Conferences and other Catholic organizations concerned with migration and refugee issues.

As the Commission’s executive body, it implements the Governing Committee’s decisions, leads its policy work, and provides oversight and support to ICMC’s affiliated and field offices across the world.

Make a Difference Today
Your support makes it possible for ICMC to respond to the needs of uprooted families and individuals around the world and to advocate for more humane and fair migration and refugee policies internationally.
Your donation helps migrant and refugee families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope
Conflicts and disasters have devastated families and communities around the world but is especially dangerous for those who have fled their homes due to violence or conflict, current dwelling in crowded camps or densely packed urban areas. As Pope Francis reminds us, “we are in the same boat, all of us fragile and disoriented, but at the same time important and needed, all of us called to row together.”
Assisting the Most Vulnerable
While deep concern for the health and safety of ourselves, family, and loved ones occupy our thoughts during this time, we also need to keep the needs of our community at the forefront of our minds and prayers.
During this time of conflict and disaster, ICMC continue working to protect vulnerable refugees and migrants — both families and individuals. Our field staff currently focus on:
Educating staff and beneficiaries on the signs and symptoms of the novel Coronavirus and how to prevent its spread;
Increasing communications to program participants by offering helplines and leveraging social media;
Gathering and distributing much-needed resources and advocating for the protection of those most at risk.
Your support helps ICMC continue to deliver much-needed services to migrants and refugees.
ICMC, Inc. is a U.S.-registered 501(c)3 faith-based non-profit organization (Federal Identification Number: 52-1470887) and all donations are tax-deductible in the United States of America to the fullest extent allowed by law.
