I think Socrates would have smacked Plato across his mouth if he had still been alive to hear Plato's "Noble Lie".
for whatever it's worth, or not:
If i had only encountered one 'ic adjacent' person who told me the story of Socrates and Plato backwards, that would have been too many. However i seem to recall five or six that have told me how Socrates was a 'molester and fool' but that Plato was 'majestic and Noble'.
I have long been wondering if that is part of the screening process the IC has developed to attract those willing to lie, and reject those who will hold to the nobility, utility and decency of truth?
