This is absolute madness. The Minnesota supreme Court has ruled that if someone comes at you with a knife or a gun or a weapon, and you also have a weapon, you are not allowed to draw your weapon to defend yourself if there's any chance that you could just run away.

If you draw your weapon and response to their weapon, you will be charged with assault and not be able to claim self-defense.

This is completely insane because no one who has had a weapon drawn on them is thinking rationally, well could I run away. Because what if I run away and this person shoots me or they follow me and stab me? If someone draws a weapon on you and you have a weapon, you're going to draw it on them. That's just human nature and common sense.

This is the kind of crazy you get when a state is run by liberals like Minnesota.
