"English Defense League"

Could the EDL be proscribed?

This is something the Home Secretary appears to be looking into - given the organisation is officially defunct, it is unclear what difference this would make.

By 2017, the EDL was still making headlines, but this time it was because a march was called off after just six people turned up.

There is a 'second story' to the 'horrific' UK riots

(British journalist tells Sky News AUS how it really is )

Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue discusses the “horrific” riots sweeping the UK.

Riots erupt in the UK, targeting asylum seeker hotels in response to false information spread on the stabbing attack that killed three girls.

“These scenes that we’re seeing are undoubtedly horrific,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“There are a lot of these people that are just racist thugs, that have nothing better to do, that are just trying to defame and disgrace the memory of these children.

“But actually, like you said, there is a second story.

“How did community relations break down to such an extent?

“It’s because of the decades-long protests … [on] mass immigration.”
