Our Forefathers made it clear that a Republic was the best way to proceed. The main reason for a Republic is to decentralize power.
Decentralized power and distributed throughout our Republic has proven to ward off covert dictatorships within a democracy.
Our Middle Class also prevents the Ruling Class elites from becoming a covert dictatorship within a democracy.
As part of keeping our Republic healthy, as well as decentralized, we need Term Limits!
Term Limits will discourage DC from being a centralized power structure; constantly crippling the strength of our Republic. 8 years maximum, just like a President.
Yearly appraisals for all government employees needs to become a staple for governing as well.
Too many employees are not qualified and end up doing almost nothing worthwhile.
We need to weed out activists squatting in our government. As taxpayers, and therefore employer, we have a right to insist on quality work for us and absolutely no activism on our dime!
