#OTD in 1942, six Nazi saboteurs were executed and buried in unmarked graves in a secret cemetery in Washington, D.C. The saboteurs had traveled to the U.S. by U-boat with a mission to create havoc by attacking key infrastructure but were caught by the FBI before they could act.
