buffers at the same place
over and over and over and over
same place every time
and it's almost like there is something missing
like a space of time – or a deleted noise
in fact, there is a noise in the background
like a dropping book, or a shutting metal door
all happening at the same time
buffering, noise, break in speaking
reminds me of an old computer I had
that allowed me to see all the third party ads
as they scrolled along the page
couldn't see it with a fast loading page
I used to have a pair of speakers
that picked up static off of videos
all happening at the same place in those videos
like radio waves you can't hear with your ears
but are picked up by the speakers
and there was no speculation about what caused the buffering in the "said video"
just that it occurred at a very funny time
seemed to freeze at the same place
nothing more
no aliens
no brain waves or microwave theories
no ghosts
no time warp
just – it was consistent in the recording that this particular recording picked up
maybe it picked up radio waves
maybe it was just my ram or wifi
