Regardless of the message the protestors are attempting to convey, ANY group shutting down bridges or freeways needs to be treated like the public enemies they are. SO much harm is done by such stunts - people miss work, doctors' appointment; they're late picking their children up from day care (which brings with it a host of problems and consequences); people miss their flights, people's vehicles break down while idling in the traffic jam…
Many more harms as well, too many to list herein. People do NOT have the right to deprive other people of their natural rights (freedom of movement, travel) while exercising their rights of free assembly and redress of grievances.
