Europe Begins Large-Scale Public Tests for ‘Vaccination Card’

In September, five EU countries, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Latvia, and Portugal, will be piloting the new European Vaccination Card (EVC) to consolidate person vaccination data. The EVC is planned for all member states after the testing phase is complete. The development of EVC began in 2018, long before the COVID ‘pandemic’. The EVC is based on the World Health Organization’s Global Digital Health Certification Network. The EVC will also support “digital cash” such as central bank digital currency (CBDC) and social credit scores allowing governments to track individuals using a single network.

Sackler Family: FDA Approves Purdue Pharma’s Controversial New Overdose-Reversal Medication

Purdue Pharma, the company founded by the Sackler family, fueled the opioid crisis by misleadingly marketing the infamous painkiller OxyContin as being non-addictive. Last week, Purdue received approval for a new auto-injector device called Zurnai that is used to reverse opioid overdoses by delivering the drug nalmefene. Critics resent the company’s attempts to play a role in addressing a crisis it helped create. Purdue says that it will sell the device at cost and will not turn a profit.

In June, the Supreme Court struck down a settlement agreement between Purdue and dozens of states and local governments that would have seen the Sacklers pay out as much as $6 billion. The settlement would have given the Sacklers immunity in civil lawsuits.

While states and local governments may settle for billions with Purdue, individuals and their families suffered addiction, overdose and hardship caused by the drugs.

Chinese Organ Harvesting Victim Woke Up Chained to Bed, Parts of Liver and Lung Missing

Cheng Pei Ming, 58, the first known survivor of China’s forced organ harvesting campaign against religious prisoners, had parts of his lung and liver removed. He still feels “extreme pain” 20 years after the forced surgeries. He suffered unbearable torture and his captors said that they derived great pleasure from it. Mr. Cheng says he was detained and tortured for years by the Chinese state for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual movement founded in the early 1990s. Following the persecution of Falun Gong members, China’s organ transplantation industry exploded. Vital organs became readily available within a matter of days in state-run hospitals. In 2019, an independent tribunal in London ruled that the Chinese government continued to commit crimes against humanity by organ harvesting. Other minorities, including Uyghurs, Tibetans, Muslims and Christians, have also been targeted. Mr. Cheng said he could not understand why they would crack down on a religion that promoted peace.
