🚨𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: NDIS Minister Bill Shorten officially announces a new government Digital ID scheme called “Trust Exchange.”

It is a collaborative effort with Finance Minister, Katy Gallagher — which promises to give Australians the ability to verify their identity and credentials based on official information already held by the government.

As part of the Digital ID project, it has been allocated an $11.4 million budget for its rollout — and have partners Google and Telstra involved in the development of its technology.
