the best theory I have heard is that the AI shit is used to partially set up a conversation. But I have also heard that perhaps the idea of saying there are no real crowds will lull conservatives into not voting because they will consider Trumps win assured. Because all the support had to be faked. I am not sure why Trump went along with it though best I have is the idea that it is being used to spin a narrative somehow.
