Russia ready to execute nuclear attacks on NATO targets, according to leaked documents

The intel handed off to the U.K.’s FT clearly indicate that in the event of a war with NATO, Putin is ready to go nuclear

Western sources have reportedly leaked Russian plans drawn up between 2008 and 2014 for “a series of overwhelming strikes across Western Europe,” the Financial Times reported.

Citing documents from Western security sources, Putin allegedly sought to enable the Russian navy to execute nuclear strikes within NATO territory were a conflict with the alliance to emerge.

Targets would not be solely military. According to William Alberque, a former NATO official, “There could be hundreds, if not thousands, of targets mapped across Europe, including military and infrastructure targets.”

Russia is also evidently still capable of transporting nuclear weapons on surface ships, which experts say carries a significant risk of escalation or accident. The Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I), signed by the U.S. and Russia in 1991, was supposed to have eliminated this possibility, although many have often questioned Moscow’s adherence to it.

Possible targets presented by the FT included the west coast of France, military installations in Norway, Germany, and Estonia, as well as the British port town of Barrow-in-Furness, known for its production of nuclear submarines.

“They see (tactical nuclear warheads) as potentially war-winning weapons,” says Jeffrey Lewis, a professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey and an arms control expert. “They’re going to want to use them, and they’re going to want to use them pretty quickly.”

Anton Bendarzsevszkij, director of the Oeconomus Economic Research Foundation, has said that “there is a global arms race that resembles the Cold War of the 1950s and 60s,” according to Mandiner.

Russia is said to have north of 5,500 nuclear warheads in its arsenal, while the United States has just over 5,000, meaning the two countries control some 90 percent of such weapons today.

Judge removes lawyer from Dominion Voting Systems case, ruling she violated court order

U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya claimed Lambert was disqualified from representing Byrne in the case because she violated multiple court orders when leaking internal records.

Afederal judge on Tuesday removed a lawyer from a Dominion Voting Systems defamation case, claiming the lawyer engaged in “truly egregious misconduct."

Stefanie Lambert, who represented former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne in the case, allegedly leaked internal records from Dominion in violation of various court orders. Dominion had requested Lambert be removed from the case earlier this year, after she shared the records publicly in her own criminal case in Michigan. Lambert has also been accused of illegally accessing Michigan voting machines after the 2020 election.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya claimed Lambert was disqualified from representing Byrne in the case because she violated multiple court orders when sharing the information, according to The Hill.

“Nevertheless, the record clearly shows that Lambert deliberately violated multiple court rules and orders and continues to do so despite having had ample warning of the consequences and assuring the Court she would comply,” Upadhyaya wrote. “Lambert’s repeated misconduct raises the serious concern that she became involved in this litigation for the sheer purpose of gaining access to and publicly sharing Dominion’s protected discovery."

Upadhyaya's memorandum claimed Lambert also violated court orders by disseminating some of Dominion’s discovery materials by sharing some public documents with a sheriff in Michigan. The sheriff then shared and discussed the documents.

The order claimed Lambert continued to discuss and disseminate the documents after a hearing in March that was investigating whether she violated any court orders.

“This Court cannot allow such intentional, dangerous, and relentless misconduct to continue. Lambert is immediately disqualified from serving as counsel in this case,” the order said.

A Dominion spokesperson said they were grateful for the order, but Lambert is expected to appeal the ruling.

“We appreciate the court’s careful decision to disqualify Patrick Byrne’s counsel," the spokesperson said. "Our case against Byrne is moving forward and we will hold him accountable for continuing to spread lies about Dominion and our employees."

Oversight Chairman Comer says Google should not receive tax dollars over censorship concerns

The committee recently announced it had opened a probe into whether Google misled Americans about the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump last month.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Wednesday lawmakers are discussing restraining Google’s government business and its liability protections because of the continued evidence of its involvement with censorship.

"When Google takes federal tax dollars and they use it against conservatives [and] they get involved in free speech, then they should be held accountable," Comer said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "At the very least, they shouldn't receive any federal tax dollars."

The committee recently announced it had opened a probe into whether Google misled Americans about the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump last month.

Comer revealed that his staff was told by Google that search engine's autocomplete feature "omitted the Trump assassination attempt" from relevant searches because the firm failed to update "a safety protocol" against violence to recognize the former president had, in fact, been shot July 13 during an assassination attempt in Butler, Pa.

"We're going to try to do everything we can as a committee to see that they are held accountable. Whether it be with the revenue they get from the federal government [or] whether it be with the liability protections they get that protects them from being sued for doing exactly what they're doing," Comer said.

He said that he is in talks with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan about ideas to hold the search engine accountable.
